"M*A*S*H: The Complete Fifth Season" on DVD - 12/9/03 - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

On 7/10, the DigitalBits.com posted some dates for upcoming TV sets from Fox.

We've got some new Fox TV street dates for you today. Look for Dark Angel: Season 2 on October 21st, The X-Files: Season 8 on November 4, King of the Hill: Season 2 on November 11 and M.A.S.H: Season Five, Firefly: The Complete Series and Buffy: Season 5 all on December 9th.

Now some of you might wonder why we took so long to post the news when it seems like everyone else was posting it? Well, we prefer to look into news items before we post it, and it took awhile to hear back from Fox (no doubt they're busy working on TV sets!). It's amazing how fast the news spread from site to site, yet The Bits wasn't ever credited. This is a common problem with news sites; not giving credit where credit is due, and it's a shame.

Their consumer "TV DVD" site shows a 12/9 release date, but Fox Home Video hasn't formally issued an announcement quite yet for M*A*S*H - Season 5. While we wait for it (should be any time now), let's take a look at the cover art for the latest season set:

It's a great cover and I can't wait for December 9! I also can't wait for November 11 for Three's Company-Season 1 on DVD.
