Question Eastland uniforms

I was wondering, is there anyplace where I can buy a pattern for an Eastland uniform? (Just to dress up in!)Does anyone know if there is such a thing? Thanks!

Nat: Who wants to be a skinny pencil? I'd rather be a happy magic marker!

I'm not sure if there is a pattern, and I doubt it, but it seems pretty easy to design one similar to the Eastland uniform. I've always thought those uniforms are adorable !

why were some of the girls neckties blue, and some red? And why did Nat always wear a sweater?? And why was Jo's tie always un-tied??

Here is my opinion about why the uniforms sometimes differed slightly. I went to a Catholic high school where we had to wear a uniform daily. But to some regard we had a choice about what to wear. You had to wear the basic blouse and skirt, but you could decide on your own whether or not to wear stockings or socks, to wear the school sweatshirt or not, etc. So when looking at the Eastland uniforms they may have had a choice of a couple different colors when it came to their ties, they may have been able to choose whether or not to wear the school sweater like Natalie always wore, etc. Who knows if this is the reason, just what I came up with as the reason for the differences.

Jo wore a sweater, too. I think all the girls wore one atleast once. Natalie did wear hers the most, though. But after Tootie and Natalie moved in to Edna's Edibles, they were hardly ever shown in their uniforms again.

well, when i went to the boarding school we had to wear school uniforms too... they were kinda like eastlands uniform but not so exact.. we had blue skirts that went to right above the knees and we got blue pants that you could wear on fridays and saturday classes... but when we wore the skirts we had to wear blue socks that were to your shins and then we had to wear black socks... then we got a white button collar shirt and a blue vest... you could get a jacket type thign that blair always used to wear int he eastland years... we never had sweaters or anything... but nobody ever wore or bought for that matter the jackets! they gave us the skirt, pants, vest, and socks we had to get our own white button collar shirts and shoes... but on fridays we didn't have to wear the vest... on fridays alls we had to wear was the blue pants and a white shirt (we coudl wear sweat shirts if we wanted with the blue pants... the pants were kinda dressy, but they weren't liek jeans or anythign like kahki's but blue... that was our school uniform... we could wear any kinda jewelery we wanted and put our hair however we wanted... we couldn't wear anything over the vests or shirts on monday through thrusday but on fridays and saturdays we coudl wear whatever over the white shirt!
