Why a Replacement for Tori Necessary? - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

I never understood why the producers felt they needed to bring in another girl instead of just finishing out with Slater, Zac, Screech, Lisa and Kelly. The fct that it was their last year in highschool, no new girl was needed. But not only did they select a girl who was too masculine, but then they make her and Zac a couple_LOL We all know Tori and Zac did not look right together. Tori to me was waste of time. Notice how she wasn't on the College version of SBTB.

Are you are sure? So in the last season it was just Lisa, Tori, Zac, Slater and Screech?

Every SBTB fan knows that. Did you watch this show with Tori in it? She was great in it imo.

I really don't think that Tori was necessary. Once the cast had started to perfect their chemistry, Tori came over and screwed things up.

I'm sure if they would of kept the cast only with Zack, Slater, Screech, and Lisa everything would of gone fine. She wasn't a crucial part. But I guess the producers decided that Lisa needed at least another girlfriend.

Does anybody else get irratated whenever they hear Lisa say the following comment?... "Girl, you are my new best friend. YOU'RE my only best friend.".... c'mon how was she able to forget about Kelly, and Jessie so easily?

I'm sorry Tori fans, but she TOTALLY messed things up.

Kelly and Jesse quit the show in the middle of Season 4. Tori was brought in as a replacement. Before they could quit though, they had already filmed the Season 4 episodes they were in, including the Graduation episode, and just showed it last.

I didn't like Tori all that much. I enjoyed Kelly and Jessie 100x more.

I think Tori is still good, but I have to admit, I liked Jessie and Kelly better than Tori.

I didn't like Tori that much either! Her and Zack were a TERRIBLE couple! However, if you've seen the E! True Hollywood Story: Saved by the Bell then you'd know that they (Kelly and Jessie) quit the show TEMPORARILY! They replaced them w/Tori, but on the last season Kelly and Jessie came back to finish up the show! So whoever thought Tori was there their senior year and graduated w/them, she didn't graduate w/them! Slater, Zack, Kelly, Jessie, Lisa, and Screech graduated together (the one were Zack almost failed)! So no, whoever said they taped those episodes first are WRONG! Tiffani-Amber Thiessen and Elizabeth Berkley indeed did take a break from the show! However, they did want to be included in the final season (and I got this from the producer's of the show)! I'm a SBTB junkie, so I know a lot about this show
