that's what I have for my overrides. you can change alot of the stuff to whatever you want, like colors and what the comment text says. if you don't understand the overrides maybe you can tell me how you want your layout to look and the comment links to say and I'll do it??

On the left of LJ under 'Your Settings' click on 'Modify Journal'. At just about the bottom of the page there is an overrides box, paste it in there and customize it however you want.

hmmm to work with the border you need to change the color settings, if you want a small border. Ok... in modify journal under 'Color Theme' put what's in bold:

Page background: black
Page text: white
Page link: white
Page visited link: white
Page active link: white
Page emphasized text: white
Page title: white
Weak accent: black
Text on weak accent: white
Strong accent: black
Text on strong accent: white
Stronger accent: black
Text on stronger accent: white

...or whatever colors you want, but that gives you a good idea of how to put it.
