Question Calling all All My Children fans!

I don't watch the show, but I did see part of an episode, (because it comes on before OLTL) and I was wondering, what do you think about the Greenlee's father storyline?

I feel sorry for Greenlee. First she lost the man who she thought was her father, then Leo the love of her life, now she is going to find out the man she thought was her father all her life isn't, that it is Jackson. The writers are hurting her so much imo.

Well, back when Roger and Leo died, Richard Culliton (sp?) was head writer. Then came Gordan Rayfield, who set up this storyline, and now Megan McTavish is telling the story.

Who ever is writing the Erica/Kendall story is brilliant! I am so glad Erica and Kendall are making peace and can try to have some sort of bond between them. Seeing them fight and hate eachother all the time was ridiculous.

Default Greenlee and Jack

I'm not sure I like this story so much. If Greens is 25 or 26 as indicated last week, then Jack is around 45, but that is hard to take even given "soap time". He's been pursing Erica for 25 years at least. Bianca is 19-20, and since Kendall is at least 26-28, that makes Erica about 45 also, but she wasn't just 25 when Bianca was born. She had to have been 30-33 by then. Who knows? They change the ages to suit the story needs. Back to Greenlee, I think they just needed to complicate Jack's life and give Mary the air-time due to a contract. All they had to do, was write Mary out before this all started and have Jack's blood donor stay unknown as it should by law. With Joni and the younger set being written out, they should just work on stories for Reggie.

WHEW!

Actually, Jack has been after Erica since 1987, when the character came to Pine Valley. I think that Joni should have stayed on the show. She was the only teen, besides Reggie, that I could stand. Well I liked Jamie too, but they are replacing Micah Alberti with a model. Joni and Reggie were just heating up too! I think an interracial teen romance would have been nice.....AMC has always been about young love and social issues....lol

I swear, yesterday when Greenlee crashed the wedding, I was seriously on the verge of tears. I was very much emotionally into it! I said, unconsciously, "Damn you Greenlee!!!! DAMN YOU!!!! DAMN YOU ALL THE WAY TO HELL!!!" Luckily, I was alone at the time, so I wasn't embarrassed by anyone lol AMC is REALLY getting GREAT these days. I'm very much enjoying the Greenlee is Jackson's daughter storyline, I like Mary and Erica's rivalry too. I think Eden Reigel has been STELLAR with this rape storyline. The only thing that has to go is (Con)Fusion. This Sexiest Man nonsense has got to go. Simone is so annoying to watch. She is like some immature 16-year-old girl who has notheing to do but drool over guys. Mia is getting on that same path, but luckily Liza will knock her back into her senses. From what I've read, Marian is going to have a lot of time soon, and according to Jenny Bassey herself, it's going to be good old BAD Marian that everyone loved from 1983-1987. Now that I've seen how good AMC can be, I'm praying that they keep Maria and Edmund off the main storylines. I'm sorry, but they are boring, imo. Every scene they have is all about "You're back!!!" "I know I finally got my memory back!!!" *they both play with kids* "Mommy, I love you!!" "I love you too Maddie, sweetheart!" That has gotten VERY VERY VERY VERY old. Older than dirt. It has gotten so old, that one might think they came up with those scenes before AMC even premiered! But other than Confusion and Edmund & Maria, I'm loving AMC. AMC, OLTL, and GL are becoming my daily favorites. So the wedding is on today! Let's hope for some good bitchfights and slaps and catty remarks and all the traditional soapy fun!
