My Favorite Martian or Mork and Mindy? - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

Both sitcoms dealt with an out-of-this-world fantasy/comedy premise involving aliens, (however they both looked like humans and spoke english) but they had extraterrestrial qualities and supernatural powers and both shows ran on Sunday nights in their original run and they were both were in the Top 10 in the ratings their first year.

Which had a better cast/storyline, which one did you prefer the most: My Favorite Martian or Mork and Mindy?

I think Mork and Mindy had a better cast as well as the storyline. The humor in that show was funny due entirely to Robin Williams. He's a genius, a sheer genius. It's too bad this show isn't in reruns that often. It's a really good show. In fact, it's one of my FAVORITE shows.

My Favorite Martian never really appealed to me that well. I prefer to think of it as a weaker version of Bewitched.

M&M.I hate Black and White shows!

Although my favorite Alien comedy is 3rd Rock.

Although I love love LOVE Bill Bixby, I'd have to say Mork & Mindy because I just think it's way funnier. My Favorite Martian never really appealed to me.
