Blair: (Walks in a little angry) Hey Jo have you heard about Scott Preston’s party this weekend?
Jo: Yea, I am his girlfriend.
Blair: Ugh! I’m not invited.
Jo: Well now I gotta go. (Leaves and goes to their room)
Blair: Wait Jo...
Jo: Yes Blair what can I do for you?
Blair: Get me invited to the party.
Jo: I can try.
Blair: Oh would you?
Jo: Sure why not.
Natalie: What if that gets you uninvited to the party?
Jo: Oh who cares I really don’t want to go.
Blair: Then why are you?
Jo: Because of Scott.
Blair: Of course your going you got to tell me all the latest gossip.
Jo: All right I’ll still figure it out.
Blair: Thank you Jo.
Jo: Sure anytime, well I got to get to work. (Grabs her helmet, and keys and leaves)
Mrs. Garrett: (Walks in as Jo leaves) Where’s she off to?
Blair: Figure out why I’m not popular.
Mrs. Garrett: Come on Blair your popular.
Blair: We’ll find out soon. Jo went to find out.
Mrs. Garrett: Well it looks like you were plenty popular until Jo came.
Blair: You’re right. But its not like I’m going to stop being her friend because of it.
Mrs. Garrett: That’s the Blair I know.
Blair: (Smiles)

(Scott answers the door)
Scott: Hey.
Jo: Hey.
Scott: What’s up you’re usually working now.
Jo: I got Blair to do my part while I talk to you.
Scott: Who?
Jo: Blair, Blair Warner. Harvest Festival Queen for three straight years so far.
Scott: Oh that snobbish blonde that you have to room with.
Jo: Scott!
Scott: Sorry. I used to be into her, then you came, and I lost interest.
Jo: So why didn’t you invite her?
Scott: I don’t know I didn’t think she’d wanna come.
Jo: She does. (Gets sweet on him) Scott,
Scott: Yea sweets.
Jo: I’d really appreciate it if you invited Blair.
Scott: All right I guess so.
Jo: Scott why don’t you like Blair?
Scott: I dated her last year.
Jo: Really?
Scott: Yea.
Jo: What happened?
Scott: She lost interest then I did.
Jo: Don’t invite her for me if you don’t feel comfortable throwing a party and inviting her don’t.
Scott: Would you be mad?
Jo: No. Do whatever you want.
Scott: Thanks, so do you want to eat here or do you have to go back and help?
Jo: Do you mind if I call Mrs. Garrett and ask her?
Scott: No problem.
Jo: Thanks. (Grabs a nickel out of her coat pocket and goes to the payphone)
Mrs. Garrett: Hello Edna Garrett speaking.
Jo: Mrs. Garrett is it ok if I eat with Scott and his roommates, that is if you don’t need any help back there.
Mrs. Garrett: No go on stay there.
Jo: Thanks Mrs. Garrett you rock. Bye. (Hangs up) I can stay.
Scott: Great. So do you know when your time is up?
Jo: For what?
Scott: The kitchen thing?
Jo: No. Soon I hope.
Scott: I can’t wait for it to be over.
Jo: Why?
Scott: Then we’ll get to spend more time together.
Jo: If we’re still together.
Scott: Is something wrong?
Jo: No I’m just not convinced that things last forever.
Scott: Your parents are divorced aren’t they.
Jo: How can you tell?
Scott: Your nervous about love.
Jo: I guess your right.
Scott: Talk to me.
Jo: My parents split up when I was twelve ever since then I haven’t been in a long relationship. This is the longest.
Scott: And you’re worried.
Jo: Kinda.
Scott: My parents never split they’ve been together for twenty years.
Jo: Wow. So do you think that since I started at Eastland Blair isn’t as popular?
Scott: Yea.
Jo: Why?
Scott: Who wants to know?
Jo: I do.
Scott: Yes people are thinking Blair isn’t the best thing like they used to think.
Jo: Why?
Scott: Because you’re so much better.
Jo: And why is that?
Scott: You’re so much more adventurous.
Jo: Oh.

Back at Eastland~
After dinner Jo goes back to Eastland but tries to stay away from Blair.
Mrs. Garrett: Oh hi Jo.
Jo: Hey.
Mrs. Garrett: So what did you learn about Blair?
Jo: Mrs. Garrett.
Mrs. Garrett: That bad.
Jo: Yes but I don’t know.
Mrs. Garrett: You want to talk?
Jo: No but I guess I have to huh?
Mrs. Garrett: Yes eventually you will so why not get it over with now and save yourself a lot of misery.
Jo: Scott and Blair dated before I came and then they broke up. Then when I came according to Scott, everyone lost interest in Blair and turned their interest to me. I don’t know why, Scott said I’m more adventurous.
Mrs. Garrett: Jo you know I hate to butt in but I think you’re being set up.
Jo: Why would you say that?
Mrs. Garrett: I know Scott and the kind of people he hangs out with. Remember Blair went out with him.
Jo: I don’t know.
Blair: Don’t know about what. Oh hey Jo what did you learn?
Jo: I better just tell you. He doesn’t feel comfortable inviting you.
Blair: Oh well that’s understandable.
Jo: There’s something else.
Blair: What.
Jo: He said something about the popularity thing.
Blair: What?
Jo: That I am more popular.
Blair: Really. (Sits down)
Jo: He didn’t give a good reason though.
Blair: What was it?
Jo: I’m more adventurous.
Blair: That’s true.
Jo: Yea but that shouldn’t have anything to do with popularity.
Blair: I guess your right. (Gets up and heads upstairs)
Jo: Blair…
Blair: Yea.
Jo: You ok?
Blair: Yea.
Jo: Whatever you say.
Mrs. Garrett: You did the right thing Jo.
Jo: I don’t know. It was the right thing to do I just hope she doesn’t do something stupid like try to change to get invited.
Mrs. Garrett: Your right.
Jo: I’m going to go upstairs, I got homework.
Mrs. Garrett: Ok.

~In the Girls Bedroom~
Jo: Blair, are you sure you’re ok?
Blair: Yea I’m fine.
Jo: I don’t believe you.
Blair: Ok don’t.
Jo: I got homework I’ll fight later. (Opens her chemistry book and gets to work while Blair is rummaging through their closet.
(The next day Jo goes to see Scott his door is cracked and he is talking to his roommate)

This is the last post lol I feel bad saying that when this seems so short on the board.

(The next day Jo goes to see Scott his door is cracked and he is talking to his roommate)
~Scott’s Dorm~
Scott: I got Jo totally believing that I like her. Last night I had to tell her that she was more popular than Blair was!
Don: Why?
Scott: She came to me wondering why I didn’t invite Blair to the party so I had to use an excuse that I didn’t like Blair and didn’t feel comfortable inviting her.
Don: Did she buy it?
Scott: 100%. But I do really like Blair. I’ve never been out with her though. I got Jo thinking I didn’t like Blair.
Don: She’s stupid. So when you going to break it off.
Scott: At the party infront of everyone.
Don: Embarress her.
Scott: Yep. We better be quiet about this Jo’s supposed to be coming over soon. (Sees the dor cracked) Oh god I hope she;s not out there.
Don: Why?
Scott: The doors cracked and she could’ve heard everything we said. (Goes over to the door) Jo!
Jo: (Gives Scott the evil eye) I can’t believe I was so stupid.
Scott: I’m sorry Jo.
Jo: I’m not that stupid Scott! I heard everything you said! (Punches him and gives him a bloody nose and runs back to Eastland)
~Eastland~
Jo: Blair! Mrs. G!
Mrs Garrett: What’s wrong Jo?
Blair: What’s wrong?
Jo: Scott.
Blair: What?
Jo: He was lying to me the whole time. He was trying to make me feel stupid.
Mrs. Garrett: Tell us what happened.
Jo: I came and he was talking to his roommate Don and he was saying that he really like Blair he was kinda usuing me to get to her so he got the guys to act like I was Miss. Popular and everything.
Then Scott said he was going to dump me at his party infront of everyone to make me look totally stupid.
Blair: I can’t believe I actually wanted to be invited to that party.
(Natalie and Tootie walk in)
Natalie: What’s going on?
Blair: Jo’s having guy troubles.
Tootie: I knew about Scott.
Jo: Why didn’t you tell me?
Tootie: I found out today but you had already left.
Jo: Oh.
Natalie: Did you break it off?
Jo: Yea and gave him a bloody nose.
Tootie: That’s our Jo.
Jo: You guys are the best. (They all hug)
