Closing Credits??? See If U Can Answer... - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

Well when TvLand airs "I Love Lucy", they show part of the cartoon opening. Well when they have the closing cerdits they show the Heart closing like they do when Nick at Nite air it. So when the episodes first aired did they close with a cartoon or the heart???

I am not positive, but I think I read somewhere that the heart WAS in fact the original closing. I hope I have helped!

I'll let you know for certain when (and if) I get my hands on some some ILL tapes or DVD's with original openings and commericals.

Original commercials would be cool! I'd love to see some old episodes with original commercials - and continuity announcements before and after to see what they were like too.
