Default Pirates of the Caribbean

I just have to say this movie rocks. I saw it today and I thought it was one of the best movies out there this summer. You really can't miss this one. Its full of action, its entertaining and its funny. One of the better ideas Disney has had. Johnny Depp & Orlando Bloom do really great in this. The movie is 2 hours and 13 minutes. I enjoyed it even if it is a little longer than it should be.

*heres a tip* if u do go see this movie, stay til the end of the credits (i know they are really long) but theres like a really short little scene at the end of the credits.

Arrrr matey, you are right about this movie! A fun movie and the best so far this year! I love Johnny Depp's Capt. Jack Sparrow and Geoffrey Rush played a great 'bad' pirate.

Capt. Jack Sparrow can 'shiver me timbers' anytime!!!

Talking looks good

This film looks better than the usual Disney live action flics- so I might give it a look. I've never been on the 'Pirates of The Carribean Ride' even though I was at disney (in paris- i think there was one there)- anyone who's been on it- what is the ride anyway? Maybe I have seen it but can't remember..

Also- is it jsut me or does anyone else think that Johnny Depp's character looks kind of transvestite like? When I saw the trailer that was the first thing to pop into my head.

Oh DARN! I usually do sit through all of the credits, but I really needed to use the restroom, so I left quickly. Darn, darn, darn!!!

Yep, the film is fun. And yes, a wee bit too long (ask my bladder).

Johnny Depp's character a transvestite?

Nope. He's a pirate, with all of the "pirate-like" adornments: long hair, jewelry, scarves. Depp wears a lot of eye make-up; I don't know if that was just the way the make-up folks did it or if it was supposed to be part of the eccentricities of Depp's character.

Suffice it to say: Jack Sparrow (Depp) IS eccentric, if not a bit crazy.

well you didn't really miss anything. I sat in the theater for 10 minutes for about a 35 second scene. it was cute but it wasnt worth waiting for. if you buy or rent this movie on dvd then i forward to it. All the scene is, it shows what happens to the captain's monkey

I watched a 'making of the movie' program about "Pirates of the...". I'm not a big fan of action movies, but I'd like to see this one. The program I watched convinced me that this is a well put together and entertaining movie!

I haven't seen this movie yet, but it looks good. My sister saw it on a date, she said it was ok.

Ahhhhh hahaha, I just got home from it. I loooooooooooooooved it. Seriously go see it, it is one of the summer's best movies so far. I loved the whole "we're not dead" and what they turn into at night and ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh ha, I loved it. Go see it. (I already said that didn't I?)

If anything go cuz Johnny Depp and Orlando Bloom are hot! And the actress who plays Elizabether (Keira Knightley) isn't so bad herself.

(It is siggy worthy!)

(Damn, we left before the credits... well I'll see it again and stay)
