Many of my favorites have been listed. But here are my top 10...

1. Wait 'till your father gets home (dad dies)
2. Crime & Punishment/ War & Peace (Jackie is beaten by Fisher)
3. A Stash From The Past
4. Therapy (Roseanne goes to Jackie's therapy session)
5. White Men Can't Kiss (DJ won't kiss the black girl)
6. I Pray the Lord My Stove To Keep
7. First Cousin, Twice Removed (with Joan Collins)
8. Don't Ask, Don't Tell (with the kiss)
9. Into That Good Night
10. Pretty in Black (Darlene's sweet 16)

There were a few funny ones from the 9th season, but I tend to look not only for the comedy in the episodes, but also for something deeper. I think the emotional zenith for "Roseanne" came with "Wait 'Till you're Father Gets Home" and "Crime & Punishment/War & Peace.

Also: PSM, I Love You, Rear Window (of only for "Roseanne's "What colour are my eyes!"), The Commercial Show (with the Rodbell's commercial)

IMHO, none of the episodes from the first season were that good, ditto for the eigth.

I think I saw the worst episode ever today! It's from season 8 where Roseanne is making the video for the unborn child. They left the laugh-track out of Roseanne's scenes (I think she recorded outside of the studio), but it took me a while to realise it- nothing was funny at all.

I love all the episodes of Roseanne except for a few awful ones in season 8 and a lot in season 9.

Yeah, that episode was really bad and it is really weird seeing it without the laugh track. The laugh track really adds something to the show.

Well, a lot of the ones from the first four seasons were great.
I really liked the one where Becky's crush was at a bowling alley, and Dan and Roseanne were acting like they were going to emberass her!
A few weeks ago I saw the episode where Becky wanted to go on birth control...what a true, tv-changing episode that was!
