Default Top 10 most tear jerking GG moments

For me, I would have to say the top 10 most tear jerking moments were...

#10. Dorothy breaks up with her married boyfriend Glenn saying she'll hurt but eventually she'll feel better and that she loves him.

#9. Miles must go into hiding from the cheese man. He says goodbye to Rose and tells her to turn to a certain poem to think of him. "...to bow down and except the end of a love... or of a season."

#8. In the middle of a storm, Sophia feels sick and talks like she is going to die. Later, Dorothy starts crying saying she won't know what to do without her when it happens and that she misses her already.

#7. In the final episode, Sophia looks at a picture she just took of Rose and Blanche and says, "Goobye my girls."

#6. Blanche's sister Virginia hugs her saying that whether or not Blance decides to donate one of her kidneys, she loves her anyway.

#5. Sophia starts crying but convinces her good friend not to commit suicide by taking pills.

#4. After saying a final goodbye to "Big daddy" at the cemetary, Blanche turns to Dorothy and says that she's no one's little girl anymore.

#3. While sitting on a bench with her friend (forgot his name) Sophia askes him about his late wife to which he breaks down.

#2. After a long argument with her daughter-in-law Angela, Sophia breaks down in tears over the death of her son Phil saying that her baby is gone.

#1. In the final episode, Dorothy says goodbye and they do a couple group hugs. Dorothy leaves then Rose, Blanche and Sophia put their arms around each other and cry their eyes out.

I agree with your choices, but I have one to add: In the episode where Dorothy decided to remarry Stan, Sophia says, "If you do this, we're no longer family." That always kind of got to me.

One scene that always got to me was the first episode where Blanche is about to get married and Rose and Dorothy are on the couch talking about possibly having to move out when Blanche gets married, and that upset Rose very much. Rose said "Our husbands are gone, are children are gone and we're all alone. And there's just too much time left." And the episode where the house is robbed and Rose and buys the gun and Dorothy asks her why she's carrying the gun, Rose becomes hysterical and says something to the effect of "I know the burglars are gone, but in my mind, there always here and I'm afraid."

I'll add: on the episode where Big Daddy dies and Blanche is setting at the kitchen table and she's talking about putting ketchup on her lima beans then she breaks down and questions why she didn't go see big daddy when he called. That always gets to me.
