Default How come Chrissy was never mentioned again...

really after Chrissy's Cousin? Do you ever wonder that?? The only reasonable explanation I can think of is that if they ever talked about her on screen, it would bring all the pain back for John and Joyce. Anyone agree?? If not, what do you think??

P.S : Please read my post on the TC eppy The Fast. It's either at the bottom of page one oe top of two. Thanks!!

That's just tv for ya. Suzanne was never going to reappear on the show again, so mentioning her wouldn't be necessary for the show. Especially since she did not leave amicably, producers never wanted to mention Chrissy's name another time. Better to forget about her, I guess. Of course we viewers see the show afterwards and think it's totally weird that Jack and Janet's closest friend never visits, calls again, or is even mentioned again!

I think her Mother was supposed to be sick. I think that was how Chrissy's absence was explained. Let me know if i'm wrong

That's right. So her leaving because her mom was sick makes since, and she had plenty of tag scenes where she's on the phone so at the time it wasn't like she left without a trace. But then the calls stopped and no one on the show ever talks about how she was never coming back, which is, of course weird for us viewers.

The thing that is more weird is Chrissy never talking to Cindy on the phone, only Janet and Jack one time

Oh I know! The show sure didn't try very hard to show that Cindy and Chrissy were related.

One thing interesting is that in the article episode where Jack and Janet do the interview with the reporter, they talk about in the begining when Jack moved in there were three of us girls but don't say Chrissy's name. Also, I found it strange how in the episode the Ropers visited neither of them asked about Chrissy.
