Did anyone hear about the Pirates' Randall Simon hitting one of the racing sausages (a traditional race of people dressed up in sausage costumes than race around the bases at miller park between the 6th and 7th innings) over the head with a baseball bat. Check out the site below!

Like I said at Chit Chat, this guy plays for my hometown team. I've never heard of this bum before, and this whole thing is an embarassment. He shouldn't be merely fined; he should be thrown in jail for a year. I bet if he wasn't a ballplayer, that's where he'd be right now.

According to the sheriff being a ballplayer would not make a difference. Just because he is a ballplayer does not mean he should get special treatment.

I have to admit to was funny, but Simon "What were you thinking?" Did you notice none of the Pirates even attempted to help the woman up? I feel sorry for her, skinned up knee's and all.

Yeah, then he came out and asked to forgive him. Then he said he didn't think it was going to hurt her. What do you expect to happen when you swing a baseball bat and hit someone???????? He should have been suppended from the Milwaukee games at least. And man, was that a wicked crowd last name at the game because of it.
