OK, I need to ask you all something that I cannot figure out. Well, today at work the cleaning guy and the other girl I was working with were having a little "argument". She said that she ALWAYS locks her car doors, but the cleaning guy kept telling her that he could break into her car WITHOUT breaking any windows, cutting any wires, or breaking anything else, with the doors locked. She, myself and the other works could NOT figure out how he could do this! He wasn't going to actually do it, he was just saying he that he could. He looks like sort of this really smart nerd who knows A LOT about mechanical things. Does anyone here know a lot about cars and can figure out HOW he could do this? It also was annoying me because he kept asking her if she wanted to bet on it, but she didn't.

ooooo that's weird. I mean there is obviously a way to unlock doors without a key without breaking any windows, but... to get into a car while it still being locked? Hmm..

I have no doubt that there are MANY devices to do such, though I don't know what they are.

It's pretty much always possible to stick a coat hanger or other instrument between the window and the door and open the lock. This is what AAA usually does when you lock yourself out of your car.

I used to own a pickup truck, and I could simply open the sliding rear window of the cab and reach in and unlock the truck. Late modle cars have tighter seals around the doors and power windows keep the windows tightly closed, so using a hanger or a slim jim is harder. A slim jim is a neat device. A friend of mine in law enforcement owns one. |

It can definately be done. I locked my keys in my car once and this guy I was dating at the time had his buddy come over with one of those Slim Jim things that bandito mentioned. He had that door unlocked in about five minutes.
