Default How did Robert go from Being Vanessa's Biggest crush to someone who was

a friend of hers she no longer had interest in? I miss something. I remember when she was so in love with Robert and was embarrased when she dropped the tray of glasses in front of him. I'm looking at a episode right now where Vanessa is trying to find Robert a girlfriend. So can someone help me and tell me when Vanessa lost interest in Robert.

Here are some things that might have led to it:

1) A lovelorn Robert shows up at the Huxtable house after suffering a string of break-ups. He stays at the house instead of joining Vanessa and her dates at a movie, and repeatedly seeks advice from Cliff and Theo. Robert decides that he wants to get back together with Vanessa. Fearing that Robert may never leave, Cliff convinces Vanessa to talk to him. She offers her sympathy about his problems, but says that they are better off as friends.

2) Robert comes by the house before a study date with Vanessa and tries to complain about his love life to Cliff. Cliff tells him to wait outside. He later corners Theo, and tells him that he has broken up with 26 girls in two years. Vanessa takes him to the mall and introduces him to a girl, but Robert scares her off by asking her to the senior prom three years in advance.

3)Robert shows up at the Huxtable house and falls for Vanessa's friend Morgan. His strange comments quickly send Vanessa, her friends, and Theo running for cover. Clair also flees from Robert briefly. She later has a talk with him and encourages him to relax and stop discussing marriage with every girl he meets.

I think that Vanessa's and Robert's relationship ended because he was very insecure and was always depressed and Vanessa was not like that. Plus after they broke up he kept doing stupid things, like hanging around their house all the time and he would act like a 65 year old man and have all these dumb quotes and Vanessa would always change a lot and go with new tends and try to fit in so I think that she left Robert behind beucase he was old news. I hope this helps

here are all the episodes that Robert was in

Halloween

Vanessa hosts a Halloween party. She is thrilled when Robert, who is considered the cutest boy in school, agrees to attend. Vanessa and Robert use their friends Janet and Scott as go-betweens because each is afraid to admit to liking the other person unless they know their feelings will be returned. Vanessa runs off in a panic after Robert says hello to her, but they eventually share a dance. She is so mesmerized that she accidentally drops a tray full of glasses. The humiliated Vanessa runs off to her room, but everyone comes upstairs to continue the party. Robert talks to her in the hall and asks her to go steady.

Vanessa's Bad Grade

Denise denies Vanessa's request to borrow her new sweater to wear to a school dance. Vanessa and boyfriend Robert study for a history test together, but spend most of their time staring at each other and goofing off. They both get Ds on the exam. Vanessa confesses the truth to Theo, but keeps the news from her parents so that they won't make her stay home from the dance. She takes Denise's sweater without permission. A furious Denise demands that she return it immediately, and they get into a fight. After catching Denise holding Vanessa in a headlock, Clair grounds both girls. Vanessa reveals her poor grade, and Cliff and Clair suggest that she and Robert study separately. Meanwhile, Clair grows frustrated with the exhausted Cliff's habit of nodding off whenever they go to the movies. Cliff blames the boring plot of the subtitled film.

Full House

Vanessa and Robert study in the kitchen. Robert believes that Cliff is tired because of problems with his "biorythms."

Denise gets an opinion

(i think this is when they started to fall apart)
