I lost track of the number of stores George ended up with. Does anyone know?

7--including one near you....as George Jefferson often said. When the show first started, he had only 5. Then he worked his way up to 7.

Yeah, I originally thought five, but I thought I recalled hearing something about four stores in one of the episodes.
