Barney Miller or Night Court? - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

Both shows dealt with a different stage of the criminal system, both aired original episodes in the 80s & both had strange & eccentric epersonalities. I choose Night Court, I'm not too familiar with Barney Miller. I thought Night Court was a great show, especially John Larroquette, Richard Moll & Markie Post.

I like Night Court, too.

I wish it was airing on some channel in my area.

Barney Miller!!! I think it's one of the best shows ever. Although I like Night Court too.

I like them both but Barney Miller is a better show.

It is a very well written, smart sitcom.

I like "Night Court" more, however I do like Barney Miller. It's just that if they were both on at the same time, chances are I'd watch "Night Court."

Barney Miller was the best. Clever writing and a terrific cast.

Night Court was made to resemble Barney Miller. They both totally ruled! I can't pick. I would buy them both on DVD if they came out. Yeah, I wish Night Court was back on A and E or any channel. (cept maybe nick/tvland -- too many eps would be skipped)

Hard questions because both shows were Great, but since I love Barney Miller, I will vote for Barney Miller
