Default How old was the Fonz?

How old was the Fonz supposed to be? Was he the same age as Ritchie, Potsie, and Ralph or was he older?

I'm guessing he was older, Like 18 or 19. Even though they never really mentioned his age.

Fonzie was 2 years older than Richie, Potsie and Ralphie. Richie first met Fonzie when he was 15 and the Fonz was 17.

in one ep, didnt richie refer to the fonz, saying something abt "how many 30 year olds do you see---?" but it woudlnt make all that much sense for back then, a 30 year old with teen chicks. so that can be right.

Ron Howard was 19 when the show started. His character was a few years younger.

Default age is no matter

I could be wrong but tv charaters age very awkward. Now I think Fonz had to be a little older then the gang by maybe 2 years max. Richie was a junior freshmen so a junior starting would be about what 16 years when the show established how they met in a flashback episode. Fonzie was in the Falcons and just as naive so, we could figure an adult wouldnt hang with any kid like that even in 1957 or just join and hang with a gang unless they "run things" which Fonzie didnt. If Fonz was 17 to 19. it is 3 max years older which is not all that off for youth to hang. All the same they would all be about 50 something today.

Yes, Henry started the show when he was 29 (show began in 1974), so he was almost 40 when the show ended in 1984. (20 yrs) He's 56 now

Do you mean how old was he supposed to be on the show or how old he really was?
