Default Signature image limit is around 50k

I thought I would make another topic since apparently some people can't read, the max size for signature images is around 50k.. if you are a little over that, that's ok.. but if you are way up over 80k and bigger, you need to make it smaller and reupload it.

If you are in violation, you will be warned once. If you continually abuse the rule, you will have your signature option revoked and you will not be able to edit your profile.

Do not ruin this for everybody.

Report signature violators here.

Thank you TJ once more! I've seen a number of people have pictures that don't look less than 50KB. People never learn.

It's actually over 19k!

AOL reduces images in case you didn't know.

Yours is ok, it is under 10k.

As I said in another thread, you can right click on an image with your mouse and then go to 'Properties' and it will tell you how big the image is in kbs.

Yes, it always depends on the image. If you're not sure, just put the image in your sig, go to a post of yours, right click on it, click properties, and you can see how big it is.

Most large animations and pictures in high quality are over 50 K.

Like in math. 10000K = 1KB So if you have something like 23964, it's acceptable. 67346, however, would not.
