Default SBTB Reunion? I Wish It Would Happen

I really wish the SBTB gang would come back and just do 1 season or more if they wanted to. That would be so cool.
Does anyone know if any thing is being said?
Would all the characters come back and do it though? anyone know?

I personally haven't heard anything about a reunion. Has it been 10 years? If they do a reunion I hope that it's better then the 90210 Special that was aired in May.

I think it would be cool if they did a reunion. I've always wanted them to do one. However, I don't think many of them would be willing to do a reunion.

WEll seeing as ONLY Dustin and Lark would even do commentaries on the DVD, it's very doubtful they would do a reunion.

I'm disappointed, I thought at least Mario and Elizabeth would also do commentaries.

I would like a reunion also, but since Peter Engel does not produce tv shows anymore and now is the dean of communications and arts at Regent Universit in Virginia Beach, Virginia.

Peter Engel

His company Peter Engel Productions, was the driving force behind the Saturday morning greats Hang Time, One World, City Guys and of course Saved By The Bell. In 2003 he was the executive producer of the reality show Last Comic Standing. After the shows end, Peter Engel Productions was brought to an end. Peter Engel has moved on from producing television to become the new dean of the School of Communication and the Arts at Regent University.

10. The question everyone wants to know … Will there ever be a reunion?
NBC is trying to get the cast and me together for the Ellen show (not my choice). I don't think it will happen. Most of the cast wouldn't even do the E True Hollywood Story. They had to use old interviews. Interview with Peter Engel.

So as I remember which Saved by the Bell Website I got it from I will post the URL so you all can read it.

I believe they've all been asked to do one, and the only two people that declined were Mark-Paul and Tiffani. Mark-Paul said in an article about being asked to be Superman in an upcoming movie, "I can't picture myself as the Man Of Steel, no way, that offer was just as bad as the offer I got for the Saved By The Bell reunion!"

It's sad, but true. Give them time, it will happen. After time they probably won't be as busy and they'll be looking for work...there will be a reunion, it may take 20 years, but there will be a reunion.

It probably had a lot to do with their schedules. Mario and Elizabeth are both very busy these days. I don't think Elizabeth would have done them, but I would think Mario would have done commentaries. Just a few months ago he did that Dennis Haskins presentation on SBTB at a college campus.

I would have liked to hear commentary on more episodes. Like the "Last Dance" one.

Does anyone think they'll have commentary on the remaining episodes to be released (like graduation day, screech's sauce, The Senior Prom, etc)

I'd love to see a reunion. The closest we got was when Mario, Mark and Lark were on an episode of NEW CLASS when they were going to tear down the school.

I think Mark Paul's image as schemer Zack has been ruined by being on NYPD. I don't watch that show as I don't watch adult programming, but it could be that he wants to shed his teen idol image and that's why he doesn't want a reunion.

And there's no way I would watch that ELLEN show (YUCK) just to see them together.

I do think there will be more commentaries. At least I hope for more.

And I think it's great that Mark-Paul's doing more acting than just being a schemer, it allows him to show off all of his acting abilities. It doesn't mean we can't picture him as Zack Morris again, he's a good actor and good actors can make anybody believe their role.

You wouldn't watch Ellen? I admit, it isn't the best reunion idea, but it's a whole lot better than nothing. Maybe if they realize how many people appreciate their reunion on Ellen they'll do a reunion movie....maybe.

Don't give up on hoping though, I know one day (probably long down the road) there will be a reunion movie. It would be a lot nicer to have one now while they are younger, but anytime is good for me.

What's wrong with The Ellen Show? I love it! I wish I can watch it every day like I used to. But it's now on in the afternoon and I work in the afternoons...too bad I don't have Tivo! I actually wrote in to the Ellen website asking about this possible reunion and wondering if they could make it happen. I really hope Ellen gets all the Daytime Emmy awards she was nominated for. She's so funny and fresh. I love to watch her. She always makes me laugh.

But, you mean to tell me you don't like Dori?!

I met Mr. Belding earlier this year and posted my experience here -

http://www.sitcomsonline.com/boards/...threadid=96520

Following is what he told me in regard to a possible reunion -

Quote:
he's in the process of working on a reunion script and has already gotten assurances from Screech, Slater, Lisa and Torrie that they'd reprise their roles. It has something to do with them busting up an international terrorist ring. He says it will never fly unless Zack agrees to do it though. Zack apparently has expressed some interest, but his schedule may make it impossible. He said that even Jessie has shown that it may be a possibility for her, he thinks because her career is "down the tubes" (his quote). He said that Kelly is the only person to outright say NO, but that he will probably write into the script that she is killed by the initial terrorist act and that sets off the chain of events that brings the SBTB gang into the story. He said it's more of a "dramedy" because it combines the screwball antics that we're used to seeing with gripping drama so it will appeal to a wider audience. He encouraged me that if I'd really like to see a reunion to email NBC expressing how much I miss the show and enquire about a reunion. (I'd suggest that each of you do the same if you're interested.)

please tell me that reunion idea is a joke. Tori was NOT a SBTB regular. She was a "JO" from FoL rip off.

Why would they kill Kelly off? That doesn't make sense at all.

my idea for a reunion would be a 20th high school reunion. Kelly wasn't on the special SBTB: TNC episode, so they could just say she's expecting and she couldn't come. Or how about one of her parents was ill? I'd rather believe that.

Well, NYPD blues is over after next year, so Zack will be free after that, hopefully.

Please, if there is a REUNION, NO TORI!
