Three's a Crowd and The Ropers as a guest star. When Mrs. Roper answered her door and it was Larry it was no cheering. And the same thing happened on Three's a Crowd when Jack answered his door. No one applauded or cheered. I found that to be a little shocking. Anyone else find that to be shocking?

Did they ever applaud Larry when he entered a room on 3's Co.?
I would assume the reason people didnt applaud him on the ropers or 3's a crowd is for the simple fact that it wasnt that great of a shock to see him. its not like these shows had been off the air for years and then larry walks in, the ropers was running simultaneously with 3's co. and 3's a crowd was the continuation of 3's co. his only purpose for being on either of these shows was either for a ratings boost or a contract fulfillment. |

But Larry wasn't seen for 5 or 6 months when he appeared on Three's a Crowd. Plus he was close friends with Jack over the years. The fact that Larry was part of the Three;'s Company era was ever reason for the crowd to cheer once he entered th room on Three's a Crowd |

I thought that was strange. When the Ropers guest starred on Three's Company, the audience applauded.

Exactly, the audience cheered when the Ropers returned to Three's Company. But no cheer for Larry? Larry was defintely funnier than Helen and Stanley |
