I've never heard of this show. Could someone please tell me what it's about?

This show was about a mysterious woman who is hired by a Professor to watch his kids and help around the house. Strange, mystical/magical things always seem to happen when she is around, and that is the foundation of each episode; something occurs, Nanny (her name is really Phoebe Figalilly, played by Juliet Mills) uses her seemingly limitless talent at causing strange things to occur and the problem is normally resolved, one way or another.

I remember fairly enjoying this series when it was on, though now I have to admit remembering only a little.
