Default What was up with tonight's episode?

Suddenly we're back in 1993? Not that I'm complaining because I never saw that particular eipsode. It was a good one.

And what was up with Crystal's hair? She looked like an over-zealous pom-pom. And who the heck is Rich Little? Bah, so many questions, so little ice cream...

So many questions, so little time...lol

You can thank Nick at Nite for the crazy schedule. I still have no idea why this episode didn't run in sequence, but maybe it has something to do with the summer block programming that begins next week.

Tomorrow night I think they are running an episode when Helen had confusion over a gift Davis was giving her. It's another pretty good episode from the 93-94 season.

I kinda liked Crystal's hair all wild, but then Crystal can go anything and I'll like it.

Rich Little was famous at one time for being quite the impressionist....I think he used to show up on Johnny Carson all the time doing Jack Nicholson, John Wayne, and all those kinds of scticks. I think Roy mentioned going to VEGAS to see him all the time which makes sense cause I think Rich Little used to perform there all the time.

While it jarred me a little to see this earlier episode (Helen was still dating Lynch), it WAS nice to see Alex again!

Helen's response when that guy at the party asked her to dress up like Little Bo Peep and spank him was priceless...she just sat there motionless for a few seconds, staring at the guy...then she calmly said, "Excuse me?".....Great comedy timing from Crystal!

This was just a silly episode...no real message or meaning to it, but it was fun. Just one of those light "road trip" stories, like when the guys went on that disasterous golfing trip. I really enjoyed this one!

WHO IS RICH LITTLE? Geez, am I that old?!! I just saw Rich Little last night on PBS. He was very, very popular mainly in the 70's and maybe the 80's and he was doing impressions on just about everybody famous, especially presidents. In fact, that was the show I was watching last night, 'Rich Little does the presidents' for which he started at JFK up until George W. and he does them just about perfect. He was doing all these way before anybody, like Darrell Hammond and Will Ferrell on Sat.Night Live was doing it. So I guess he was a pioneer when it comes to doing impressions. When I was a kid, I thought it was amazing that he could imitate anybody. He still does things here & there.

About last night's episode, didn't N@N already show that a few months back? OK, first they're showing eps w/Casey, now they're going way back. I like when Joe is trying to hook Helen up and starts talking to the guy, and the guy thinks Joe is gay.

I'm 27 and have vague memories of Little in the 80s. He wasn't bad. Kind of like the Dana Carvey of his time. (Now someone will probly say "Who's Dana Carvey?")

I think Helen's hair was like that because she was s'posed to have a date with Davis.

Joe to the guy: "Are you alone? Cuz it doesn't have to be that way."

Or Brian to Joe: "Have you ever done this well in your life?"

Joe: "Damn!"

Let's not forget Maestro Lowell playing the "Entertainment Tonight" theme over and over again on the piano!

The way that he was getting into it, with his hair flying around and that stupid grin on his face was hilarious...and that hooker (who was probably used to being nice to ANY guy under ANY circumstances) couldn't stand it any more: "Don't you know any OTHER songs?"

I didn't mean to make it sound like it was a big deal that some of you didn't know who Rich Little is. So you didn't know. It's not like the world is going to end. On one of the boards, I mentioned that my boyfriend calls me the pop culture goddess. Actually, it should be pop culture geek. I just have all this useless information in my head. I can't help it. I've always been fascinated with pop culture and I read & watch alot about celebrities and notice alot. By the way, anybody even recognize the voices on the Aquafina & MCI commercials? Aquafina is George Clooney and MCI is Keifer Sutherland. Yeah, I know, you're probably saying SO?? That's just it, that is one of the many silly things I notice.

Anyhoo, reading the most recent posts after the other one I posted, I chuckled at the one line when Brian says to Joe "Have you ever done this well in your life?" I also like the lines-Joe:My Deidra? Brian:For $300, she can be anybody's Deidra.
