What do you wish would have happened on LITB?

Now,I know I will probably get alot of flack for this because this is based on the boys but as a woman, I would have liked to see more romance between Ward and June. Call me crazy but they had such a strong chemistry that it was exciting. It was great how they playfully talked to one another. Take it from me girls, it's great when you got a husband like that. It makes the world alot less stressful.

I wish Beaver would have become a little less gullible. His friends were always trying to pull one over on him and he fell for it every time.

Desilu, you took the words right out of my mouth! except back then the thought of married couples doing it was a disgrace, go figure... maybe if the show was made during the brady bunch days then they would be more affectionate.
anyway i'd say about the time beaver lost his cuteness and was growing up june should have got pregnant and had a baby girl who was kind of like Puddin and did bad things like lock herself in the bathroom or put on her mom's make up.

I wasn't talking about "doing it". I just meant they should have had more awwwww scenes like in the orchid and other shows. I know back then they were watched very closely making sure they kept it clean.

I know I'll probably be alone on this, but what I wished could have happened on LITB, was a seventh season! Just one more! Beaver has his first year of high school, Wally has his first year of college (assuming he stays in the house that is). I think they could have done a lot with that season. I would have liked it anyways.

As far as what I would have liked to see on the already existing seasons... well desilu #1's has a good one! I love the June and Ward moments that we actually do get to see, but shucks, with 234 episodes, they should have included far more. The later years were especially disappointing for June and Ward because the interaction with them just wasn't quite the same as it was the first year or so. And the whole series doesn't have enough focus on them as it is. I love that the show deals with the boys' lives, don't get me wrong, but June and Ward had just too much chemistry to pass up!

Actually, due to a "crash" of the boards on July 3rd, my post (along with one or two others) on this topic was lost in cyberspace. So I'll say it again. I would have loved to have seen the show continue, not only for one more year, but for four more years. This would have gotten Wally thru college and we could have seen Beaver graduate.

There were plenty of interesting things that could have taken place in those four years, and like I said before, I actually enjoyed the later years better than the early ones. The thought of continuing to see Eddie and Lumpy going thru college with Wally would have been enough insentive to keep the show going. They were hilarious the last two seasons in particular.

Super! I'm not the only one. And by the looks of it, you and me both are not the only ones. I always feel like I am wishing such an odd thing for the show to have continued, I even only said "just one more!" I would have liked to see 4 more seasons too! I have always said the later years are my favorite.

It would have been great if it had ran till 1965 so that we could see it in color.
