Question Show opening

I was wondering if someone could tell me how many different beginnings there were throughout the shows run. I believe they never changed the opening.

I was watching last nights episode (The Oddfather), and noticed the intro was slightly different. It looked as if they had retaped it, and the screens tint seem slightly darker.

There were two different versions of the Opening credits. In the earlier seasons, Fred comes out and reads the paper with glasses on and there is also a woman walking across the street with a light blue jacket on as Lamont pulls into the driveway.

In the later seasons, when Fred comes out to read the paper, he has no glasses on and when Lamont pulls into the driveway there is no woman walking across the street.

I had it backward. I meant to say in the earlier seasons, Fred reads the paper with NO glasses and there is no woman walking across the street when Lamont pulls in the driveway.

In the later season, Fred reads the paper with glasses and there is a woman with a light blue jacket walking across the street when Lamont pulls into the driveway.

Also, there's two different views of the truck. In the first few seasons, the truck is driving down the road with Lamont looking around at stuff. Later on, the truck turns a corner and goes down the road, and the shot of Lamont is different.

IIRC, Lamont also has a different look on his face in each. In the earlier seasons he looks serious, almost tense, while later on he has a more contented look about him.

Default Fred looking skyward

Also, when Fred walks out he stares at the sky for a split second. I think that was a later addition too. I could be wrong though.

Wink

Also, when Fred walks out he's carring a fan in the eariler seasons, later he carries what looks like a heater. Also they are placed in different locations. It's a dead giveaway to me, when I see the fan I immediatly know it's the earlier seasons (the good ones) and not the later ones where lamont mostly stands around in tight pants.
