How was the character Jenny Picholo used on Happy Days when Joanie left to star in - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

her own Show-Joanie Loves Chachi? I found out that The Jenny character remained on Happy Days and i'm trying to figure out why.

Jenny was still in high school, because they made a reference once to her getting held back, so she just hung out with K.C. I don't know why HD would want to keep Jenny without Joanie, but oh well, she's a very funny character. However, to me it would have made sense to have her go to Joanie Loves Chachi, but (obviously) that didn't happen.

Jenny could have guest starredon JLC but not be on the show as a regular character. Wouldn't have made much sense

Why do you say that? I'm just curious. Obviously the producers agreed with you, so I'd love to know!

Because friends don't follow friends. Girlfriends follow boyfriends but friends of the same of sex in reality would not move from a city to follow a friend who is following their boyfriend. Make sense?

Well, that is true, I was just thinking her character would have been better on a show with Joanie, but you're right, it wouldn't really make sense. However, when did Happy Days ever make sense?
