Just wanted to know why Tv seasons used to end in March during the 70's. And when did they start ending in May?

Do TV seasons start later than they used to? Because that would make them end later.

Yeah some shows start their first episode in October.

My guess is somewhere along the line they decided that by adding a few weeks of reruns, they could make the season seem longer, and thus get more $$$ from ad revenue.
