Ok, I know why they made Tootie wear skates on the show, but it's so unrealistic! She had them on during gym class tonight! Please, she had them on during a flood! What were the writers thinking??

God, I really can't wait til season two, I really miss Jo about now. Thank god they brought in new writers.

The rollerskates bother me too! I mean, its ridiculous how
she has them on ALL the time during situations when you would
NEVER be wearing them. I am really looking forward to season 2
which is finally coming on next week! I have never seen all of
seasons 2 and 3!

yea i agree, what were the writers thinking?

and also i was excited to see some first season episodes but they werent as good as i though so now i am counting down the days till the second season!!!

I read somewhere that the roller skates were done so they could see her in some camera angels ((she was too short)). I kinda thought it was cute but I am glad they went when they did.

Hey it was 1979 and 1980. Maybe she was going to a roller disco.

I actually think that it is kind of cute that she has her skates on all the time. She's obsessed with them, and how does that make her any different than people like us who proudly proclaim to be obsessed with a television show from the 80's. I think the writers were pretty realistic if you ask me.

The funny part is, I don't think she ever wears the same skates, sometimes they're blue, and others they're white. In the ep wear Blair wants to sell them, they're blue with a white stripe. What color are they in "The Way We Were"?
