Why did Steven in Elyse decide to live in Ohio? Ohio is a pretty conservative state and I think it is mostly republican run. Well, if Steven and Elyse were such hufge liberals why didn't they continue to live in Berkely (where they went to college) or move to a state that was more liberal? It's not like there family lived in Ohio. I have nothing against Ohio I like it. I was just curious...

Maybe they thought it was a better and safer place to raise a family. After all, the Midwest is a very friendly place.

I like that they used my homestate to base FT on. And they used Columbus, they could have chosen Cleveland or Cincinnati but they chose Columbus.
Columbus really isn't a bad place to live, yes Ohio is mostly consistently republican, but Steve and Alyse always seemed to see both sides of things, so I like that they chose Ohio. |
