I think Renee Zellweger is too pretty to play J.J. But you know that's what people said about Nicole Kidman in the Hours and look what happened to her.

Why does Hollywood always try to pretty everything up? I just don't get it. Janis Joplin was a less then beautiful woman, therefore I think a less then beautiful woman should play the part. They're always trying to rewrite history in Hollywood. I think they should forget Renee Zellweger, and let Melissa Etheridge play the part. Now she'd be the perfect Janis Joplin!
