fonzie's bike - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

can anyone tell me what the bike that fonzie rode was. I think it was a triumph, obviously customised but what was the original model before it was cusomised and what was changed. Any details would be a great help as I want to recreate that bike.

It was a 1945 Indian Triumph, I believe. This is all the information I know on the bike.

I think Fonz had at least 3 bikes didn't he? One was smashed by Ralph, of course the original which he kept in his apartment, then Joannie & Chachi "bought" another bike for his birthday(with his own money of course).

I'm going to DC for 2 weeks next week & plan on seeing the Smithosonian. I'll probably see Fonz's leather jacket. They probably won't let me photograph it. Rats. I'm looking forward to it!

I think they used the same bike in the episode were Ralph smashed it. But I could be wrong. I know that they changed the bike to a Harley in the 80s in the episode "the sixth sense." Anyway, about photographing the jacket, you can! I was out in DC about a 1/2 year ago, and I took all the pictures I could of it! Have Fun on the trip Wayne!
