What did you think??
Vicki WAS really pretty, but I still think Jack and Janet should of gotten married, or at least kissed or something like that... How do you think the finale would have gone if Vicki and Phillip were not brought in? |

I loved the finale...it was great! The only scene I didn't really like was the last one...I think it should've ended with the second-to-last scene, which was Terri turning off the lights in the apartment and leaving with Jack and Janet.
I really liked a scene in either the finale or "Cupid Works Overtime" where Jack, Janet, and Terri start getting sad. That was so sad. *sniffle* |

The reason why the finale of Three's Company was a bit awkward is because not only were they trying to wrap up the sitcom (Janet meets and marries Phillip), but they wanted to lead-in to the "Three's a Crowd" spin-off.
At the end of the finale in the original airing, the "Three's Company" logo was superimposed on the screen, remained for a second or two, and then was replaced by the "Three's a Crowd" logo, all in a little animation. It was both cool and shocking at the time because it graphically illustrated the end of "Three's Company". I was disappointed that Nick@Nite decided to cut that out. JamesC |

Yeah, I remember seeing a clip of that on the E! True Hollywood Story. I liked how they did that in the finale. I agree it's too bad that it isn't included in syndication, but I suppose it's because Three's a Crowd isn't seen in syndication often and hasn't been shown on local stations in years. |

Jack and Janet should have hooked up. She always did have a crush on him.

I thought the finale was a bit rushed, first of all, Phillip was first introduced The Heiress/The Inheritance and then in the next episode Phillip was already attempting to propose to Janet and then they were married right after they were enganged. Phillip, after knowing Janet for such a small portion of time withought any really true indication that they were in love, it didn't make much sense for them to get married so soon. It seemed that Janet didn't know much about Phillip, and we didn't know much about Phillip. It appeared the same way for Jack and Vicki, they didn't know much about each other but you could tell that they really enjoyed each other's company. It seemed odd because I've never really saw Jack so in love another person this much before.
I thought Janet did get a little emotinal in the last episode when she was about to marry Phillip, and she started crying, and I thought that it was a very special moment for all of them, because they were all moving on, to do other things, Jack was going to live with Vicki above the Bistro, Terri was going to Hawaii and Janet was going to live with Phillp. I think it was nice that Jack and Janet would still lived very close together, so they could revisit each again whenever they wanted. |

I don't like the finale that much. I just don't like the way it turned out... it could have been so much better imo. It made me so sad, though.

I hate the finale, I think its sad that Janet married Phillip and not Jack. They made the perfect couple. It was sad they didn't get married. I think Jack had feelings for Janet cos they lived together for 8 years. JMO tho. |

But as for her moving to Hawaii, I think it was a quick solution for the writers to show that she was be moving on, along with the rest of the cast. |

I can't watch the finale anymore. It makes me too sad. I know how sad the cast was in real life, so I don't watch it.
I also don't watch Shelley Long's last episode in Cheers. |
