2 whole days without meat.I've tried to become a vegitarian in the past but have always ended up cheating and having a nice juicy piece of steak but this time I think I'm going to try to stay a vegitarian.

This is a message board, not a classroom. We're not here to learn academics. It could have been a simple typo anyway.
As I said, it's impolite--rude actually--to correct anyone's grammar online or in person.

I'm not trying to say any such thing, and how you drew that conclusion is beyond me.
I'm saying that it's bad manners to correct someone's grammar, particular on a public forum.

He wrote vegitarian more than once, so I hardly think of it as a simple typo. If he continued going around writing "vegitarian" somebody was going to eventually correct him anyway.

I just did a web search and found about 10 sites saying that it's rude to correct someone's grammar.
You said yourself you know it's impolite, so this conversation is over for me.
