Bob Newhart Show or Newhart - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

Newhart, mainly because that's the one I grew up with. Tom Poston & Peter Scolari were great assets to the show, as was all the kooky locals like the guy with the mustache. As you can tell it's been ages since i've seen it, but the way the last episode tied in to "The Bob Newhart Show" was comedic genius.

Newhart. The Bob Newhart Show is a good funny show but the surroundings tend to depress me for some reason. I Like the surroundings and Characters of Newhart best. In fact its one of my favorite shows.

I like both but I prefer Newhart. After all, my original screen name when I first came here was NEWHART FAN!

By the way, I just looked at my posts and I have hit 3500! Yay for me!

Newhart.I liked it the most when he was a talk show host.I love any show dealing with Entertainment.

both, but mostly "Newhart". I wish TV LAND would bring it back!
When N@N was showing it, I saw it for the first time. Whenever it was on, I never watched it, for some reason (I forget why). When N@N showed it, I used to watch it ALL the time. I thought it was hilarious!!

I used to love Larry, Darryl, & Darryl. "Hi, I'm Larry, this is my brother Darryl, and my other brother Darryl."
You know, I read somewhere recently, that those 3 guys still get recognized as "Larry, Darryl, & Darryl", after all these years!

I Would love to see it on TV Land. I Havent seen it since it left TNN!

Both of them are about the same in quality wise. Hmm, I guess my vote goes to The Bob Newhart Show since I am more familar with that than Newhart.

they shoulbe, as both shows were made by MTM productions. (in case some people don't know what MTM Productions is, it was a company that was founded by Mary Tyler Moore & Grant Tinker, her former husband, in 1970 to make "The Mary Tyler Moore show" & since then, they've made "The Bob Newhart show" & all the spinoffs of Mary, along with "Newhart", "Hill Street Blues, "St. Elsewhere" &, I THINK "Chicago Hope"

Newhart. The first season wasn't that great, but the rest of run was hilarious. When it was on TNN, I taped it everyday because I knew it wouldn't last. And it didn't. Spike can have their wrestling, Pamela Anderson shows, cartoons, and endless reruns of syndicated junk. I bet if they replaced some of their current shows with Newhart, WKRP, and Taxi, Spike might actually get more men (and women), to watch that channel.
