So I went to the mall today
and these ppl would not leave me alone until i accepted a free cell phone. god.
guy: hey do you have a cell phone? me: no. guy: how would you like to get one for free? me: i dont want one. guy: but its free. me: i dont want one. guy: but you could go ANYWHERE and talk on the phone. me: i dont want one. guy: but you can have it for free. me: i dont want one. guy: but you dont have one already. me: i know. guy: you can get one for free. me: i dont want it! guy: think about it! me: but i dont want one. guy: but its free! me: I DONT WANT ONE. guy: come on its free. me: FINE! and i grabbed his damn brochure. did it not compute in his mind that i wasnt interested? jesus. |

Gaa, I know exactly how you feel, Sarah. There are these people from the Tuscaloosa News that call my house all the time, and before I can even tell them "no" they start telling me about how much it costs and what's inside and sooo much crap until I just hang up. But they still call back!

omg...that would be such a pain. They'd prolly try to throw it on u whether u had a cell phone or not. I can just picture someone asking me if I had a cell phone and me saying yes and them being all like, "Want one for free?" and me saying no, and them keep bugging me until I get to the point where I shove my cell phone in their face and tell them to shut up. That'd be fun! And I think I just got really off topic.

I agree with what Brandon said, I mean the walk away part, minus the idiot part. It's like those telemarketers that call you're house. You say 'Not interested' and hang up the phone, if you stay on the phone and let them keep talking, you might be holding the phone for an hour and end up buying whatever they want. The same thing goes for people that's bugging you to buy a product in person. Say 'Not interested' and shut the door if you're at home or just walk away. Annoying that they don't take no the first time, but that's the way they do.
