Default The Division not getting the respect that it should get as far as reruns go!!!

I have a real bad feeling that The Division won't get the same kind of respect as shows like The Practice and CSI Investigation go!!! In fact, I fear that if the show gets cancelled sometime in the future, It'll go down like Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Alias both. It seems, just like Buffy and Alias, two other shows that people are obsessed so bad to have eppisodes recorded on, that the Division won't survive on reruns at all. Hell, according to T.V. guide, Buffy got cancelled and it's not even going to survive in reruns, and there ain't no reruns on Alias as well. And I fear that The Division will also follow the same trail as Buffy and Alias. Hell, enginewise, The Division is a ripoff of both Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Alias!!! Just like in videogaming Indiana Jones for PS2 and XBox was a big ripoff enginewise to Buffy the Vampire Slayer for XBox. You see what I'm saying, folks?

For one they're on totally different networks than The Division which makes a big difference. When Lifetime cancels a show or they finally call it good they continue showing reruns of it. 'For the People' got cancelled after the first season, but they still show reruns of it from time to time. Any Day Now called it quits, and they still show reruns of it also. Besides- The Division has been picked up for a fourth Season so I'm not all that worried about reruns at the moment.

...although I do wish they would go back to reairing the episodes at one or so in the morning, just in case VCR's mess up on folks and what not.

that would be heaven....

I don't think the division can be compared to shows such as BTVS, Alias, or CSI. It's on a cable network and has been doing fine for the past 2 1/2 years, which is amazing considering there's a six month period of re-runs, or sometimes no re-runs. This six month period makes people even more excited for a new season, so they'll be coming back for sure. Like Miranda said, it was picked up for a fourth season, and from the looks of it, that won't be their last episode.

As for Alias....IT GOT CANCELLED? I missed the last two months or so of episodes. If someone can re-cap what happened (from the time Emily was shot) to the series finale and why it was cancelled in a private message, I would be very thankful.

I agree, since its a diff. network, then everything is completely different, and as far as we know the ratings are holding strong and that this wont be its last season...but I agree reruns from all diff. seasons would be a nice change, esp. during the summer when I can stay up till all hours and not have to worry bout being tired for school

I think that they dont get very much attention because its on Lifetime, Television for *gasp* women! No one wants to admit that they like Lifetime.

I agree with the rerun comments. I really wish that they would reshow some of them, because I miss the first and second seasons.

If I'm not mistaken Alias was picked up for a third season. I hope so any way, because it is a unique and awesome show!

Yeah I personally dont like to admit that I watch the lifetime channel, that channel gets so much flack from everyone just because it's "television for women".... so you get these young people that hate it because its too "dramatic" and you get the guys that dont want anything to do with it LOL... espiecialy guys my age dont want to be caught dead watching lifetime tv. Of course now they have the "new TNN" guys network that looks really stupid in my opinon with this one show i saw advertised called Stripperella or something with pam anderson what the heck is all that about? LOL anyway I personally enjoy the lifetime channel, I can admit that sometimes its the only interesting channel on.

She is like my mentor and my lifetime goal is to one day meet her and tell her that she saved my life. If it weren't for Nancy, I don't know where I'd be today. She has touched so many lives, I'm one of them. Nancy made me realize that life's worth living, and to not give up on mine... no matter how angry I get.

I agree. You'd think that guys would like to watch Lifetime, though. I mean, it doesnt have stripper guys. Ever.

Edit: OK, I lied. Mag's bachelorette party had a stripper guy. But I mean, it's all these women...you'd think guys would want to watch. Then again, the Lifetime actresses arent Pamela Anderson.
