I got my confirmation and itinerary in the mail today ~ I am PSYCHED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I have to work first in Georgia for a week and then I'm taking my daughter and a friend for 3 days to Disney World. I haven't been there in about....17 years and I know so much has changed. I have all these things planned and what I want to do - has anyone been there recently? Any recommendations? We plan on doing Epcot/MGM in 1 day. I want to do the Tower of Terror and that Rocking Rollercoaster in MGM and then head to Epcot. My daughter wants to visit "Mexico" and we plan on seeing the illumantion show at night. We'll spend 2 days in Magic Kingdom. I can't wait to ride Space Mountain (again), Thunder Mountain (again) and go through the Haunted Mansion!!!! I want my daughter to see the Hall of Presidents and the Country Bear Jamboree. We'll spend 1 day at Animal Kingdom then That's new and I think we'll have a good time there - we will definitely go on the safari!when I went many years ago we stayed in Fort Wilderness and ate at Pioneer Hall every night so I want to go back theer for a night just for memories I'd love to see the Hoop De Doo Revue but it's too expensive We aren't doing any Blizzard Beach or anything like that - I can swim where I live, I dont need to swim in Disney World ![]() Anyone been there recently? I think I"m more excited than my kid

I was just there in April....You're going to have a good time. When are you going? Maybe you'll be there for the opening of Mission: Space..?

Yes, It certainly has changed. I first went there in 1983 and Epcot was fairly new then. There was no Animal Kingdom or MGM yet. I went again in 2001 and couldn't believe how much new stuff they added. I just hope the Hall of presidents isn't closed when you visit there like it was when I went. I was bummed.

Well based on the online thing that says what parts of the park are closed for renovations, etc nothing I want to see is closed. I was disappointed however to see that the 20,000 Leagues Under The Sea is gone as is Mr. Toad's Wild Ride! Where did they go and why? Those were CLASSICS! My daughter would love Leagues! |
