Default Never before seen eps

Last night I was watching the ep where Beav gets Lumpy arrested. I have never seen that one before. There was another one about a week ago that I had never seen either. I'm a pretty faithful watcher, so I'm wondering how this could be.

Is it possible that they held back some eps in previous rotations?

Any thoughts?

I was a pretty faithful watcher, and I KNEW I had never seen the Captain Jack episode (and I still haven't!), and the episode where Eddie and Wally play the practical joke on Lumpy. Then I finally saw the practical joke episode, so I thought there was only one episode of the series that I've never seen. Then, from reading the boards here, I found out about the Mary Tyler episode. I never saw that one before and never knew it existed. Finally, I saw that episode too. And just a few weeks ago, I was flipping around, and I saw LITB was on, and I saw ANOTHER episode I've never seen before!!! Its the one where Beaver tries to earn some money by mowing lawns. So now I think I've seen all the eps but one, but I might still be mistaken!

They've shown that episode before. In fact, I've seen it several times, so I don't think they've been skipping it in the rotation. I do know they've been skipping a couple of episodes for at least the last 4 years (since I've had Direct TV, and thus TVLand).

I used to remember which ones were skipped, but I can't think of them right now. But if someone mentions one, I'd know if it had been shown or not, and the one you mentioned had been shown regularly.

Default They have skipped episodes!

TVLand did skip some episodes from Season 5 (about 1/3 of them) and I think a few from Season 6 during the last cycle of shows. They are skipping episodes again this cycle, but not the same ones they skipped last time. Beaver's Long Night is the only episode of LITB that I had not seen on TVLand. They skipped it last time, but I caught it this time.

I would really like to know TV Lands reason for skiping any episodes. First they totally show alot less of LITB then they go and skip shows,What is next?! When I first started watching this show late last year they had two episodes on back to back, now we only get one at night! They keep showing these shows like Sanford and Son over and over again and back to back!! Now,classic TV to me is 50's and some 60's shows. Let them show those other shows on Nick@Nite! IMO, they should only show the old B&W's on TV Land. Anyone feel this way? And for Lucy fans such as myself, there is only one episode of I Love Lucy on a night too which is completely outrageous! And another thing, Nick@Nite has become a real joke! The same shows over and over again! The Cosby Show and Cheers are on continueosly. I never had a problem with these shows until they started screwing
with my favorites! Ok, I feel better now!
