I have to say Archie wins SLIGHTLY over James, but they both have the funniest bad Moods I ever seen in my life. Two Classic Sitcom Fathers.

Actually I
would not say that Archie had much of a sense of humor! He was so negative most of the time and took things way too seriously! I think James was a little more mellow and had fun once in a while. But of the two characters I choose Archie! He reminds me of so many people that I know! His reasoning just cracks me up although bigoted and ignorant. He really believes what he says! And in a warped way that makes him kind of charming in a perverted way!

i don't really call Archie dry humor, cuz complaining isn't dry humor to me... Archie is very funny just how he's always complaining about things and being the grumpy old man he is... James Evans was just mean and not even in a funny way... he had no right when florida was better at running a house... all he did was make the family even more poor. haha.

James was not mean and how in the world did he make the famiy more poor if he was getting turned down for certain jobs. FLORIDA was the one who made the family more poor because

she refused to do a commercial for $5000 because she was asked to lie

she didn't want to use the $2000 James found because it was dishonest

She refused to accept money from a cousin who was into horses because it was dirty money.
