Default I Refused to watch any Sanford and Son episode on N@N because..

they will only damage the classic comedy of this great sitcom. I wish N@N will just leave classic 1970's Sitcoms ALONE!!!!!!

I watched some of the eps if I wasn't listening to cds. It kind of freaked me out big time to see something different on N @ N. I know it's just for what, a week? Still, it freaked me out.

I can just imagine how horrible the edited version was on N@N since TV LAND already does a horrible job.

That's how shows that run in syndication on cable networks are treated. Their opening and closing credits are way different from when it was shown in primetime. The show is condensed because the networks want to add 50 million commercials.

It seems like no "classic show" can remain sacred these days.

I haven't even watched it on N@N yet. I'll bet anything the editing's worse than TV Land's, though.

I have watched some episodes on Nick at Nite, and to me, the editing is the same, in the exact same spots as TVLand. Case in point, in the episode "Mamma's Baby, Pappa's Maybe," Esther's line of "What did you say N*" is changed to "sucker." I am surprised that Nick chose to show some Fredless episodes this week, especially considering they just ran on TVLand and probably the average fan would rather see Fred than Grady.
