Default Will Estes Article

Hey ppl. I found an interesting Will Estes article that I thought I might share with u all.

Will Estes

Even with an early start in commercials and sitcoms, it wasn’t until after high school that Will Estes, 24, decided to make acting his raison d’être. Now, you can catch the handsome and charming actor on NBC’s swinging ‘60s drama, American Dreams.

On preparing for the role: My uncle was the exact same age as my character in 1963, so between him and my dad, I have a pretty good idea of what was going on. I’ve listened to a lot of the music and watched the movies, and I’ve just done what I can to inundate myself with the time. It was a time when what the dad said in the family went. That’s not the case anymore. A lot of things have changed. With change you always get some good and some bad. It was a time when the whole family sat around the table for dinner every night and I think that’s something we’ve moved away from, which hasn’t been a good thing.

On the best and worse aspects of the industry: The best part, to me, is getting to create characters and getting to tell stories through those characters and working with people who want to do the same thing. You meet great people. It’s fun, and every once in a while you get to do something that’s a really great story and that feels really good. The worst part of the industry is probably the self-promotion and the ego.

On the best advice he’s received: One person comes to mind -- my gymnastics coach. I took gymnastics when I was younger. It was just a recreational thing, but he really was teaching me a lot about life. He taught me about taking chances and to never go half way, especially when he was spotting me, because if you go half way the spotter gets hurt. So, I think it’s a metaphor -- maybe if you’re not giving 110 per cent, then it’s not worth doing because you might end up hurting somebody else.

On his perfect girl: Somebody I can laugh with, someone I can trust, someone I can set free and keep safe.

Default I found another one :)

I found another Will Estes article. It's probably not as interesting as the other one I shared with u, but I'll post it anyway.

Being A Celebrity

Will Estes from American Dreams is 24, but he's been acting since he was 10. Believe it or not, he was discovered at a grocery store! His first job was an advertisement for Lee Jeans, and then he starred on TV's Lassie. At first, he liked the perks more than the work: "I got to go to Toys R Us when I got a job, and I enjoyed that. But I could always speak with adults as well as I could speak with other kids and I really enjoyed working." Next he hopes to make a movie. "My favorite genres are comedy and sci-fi," he says, "So anything like that would be fantastic!"
