Has anyone seen original HBO pilot special? - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

I didn't catch the original CYE special that aired in 1999, not realizing what a hit CYE would become later. (By the same token I didn't start watching Seinfeld until early 94, but of course I have now seen all the early episodes in syndication). Has anyone seen the CYE pilot and does anyone know if HBO plans to repeat it or do any tapes of it exist?

HBO Comedy seems to air it after they finish airing all 3 seasons.Currently they are in the beginning of season 2.

I just checked the official website and it's airing this Thursday at 10:30 am on HBO Comedy.

The special that starred Larry David:Curb Your Entusiasm was actually not supposed to be turned into a series. It was aired in 1999 but after it became a big hit LD wrote scipts for a show and thus it was born: Curb Your Enthusiasm.......

It was one of the funniest specials I have seen on HBO.
