Question Sad, sad episodes.

80skid's topic gave me an idea, or more of a question. Since 'The Facts of Life' deals with life's issues, there has been more than a couple of episodes that have been a bit sad.So I was just wondering if there's been any episodes that you've cried at? Or for you males, been choked up?
I guess im asking cause I dont want to be the only one who's too sensitive.

Sad

Your not the only sensitive one here
I got very teary eyed......Ok i'll admit it, I cried when Jo left to cali. And I sometimes get a lil emotional when I see sentimental moments where Jo cries. The accident episode was very emotional too but not that much to make me reach for the mop or nething.

Yeah, I sorta got teary-eyed at that part too. But honestly, I kinda cried during the 'Graduation' episode, when they are all in their room, saying how they might not see each other again(obviously, they do). It's kinda pathetic, I know. I was really surprised last night when Blair started to brake down, when she looked at herself with the tray.
I always get a little choked up, you know. I guess I am way too sensitive.

Well I also go teary eyed in the episode whe nJo left for california...Not really the fact that she left (because I knew she was coming back obviously) But the way she almost left then came back and gave each of the girls a hug..That was a very good part..I almost cried..Also when the girls graduated from eastland and when Blair looked at herself in the mirror and almost broke down (that was so sad)then Blair was talking about the little white dress, and how Jo was trying to tell her it probably wasn't as bad as it looked...Those we real sad..I am not usually a real sentimental type(even though I can cry on Q most of the time..I didn't know I could until I tried and it worked *L* Can anyone else?),but there are some episodes that get to me...There are a couple more, but I can't remember right now..

I know I had never seen that episode before and I was bawlin like a baby. They had some serious chemistry between them. It felt like they had been best friends their entire life. When Jo asked Tooties and Natalies advice on helping Blair, that got to me too. Props to Nancy and Lisa for creating 2 great characters!
Bravo girls!

I cry when there are sentimental moments on the show, or I get a little teary-eyed at least. Want to know how pathetic I am? i havent seen the wedding one yet, so when i saw the pic from this site of jo and rick, i was acctually crying. It was such a pretty picture.

Umm, I know i posted over blair's accident and jo's wedding, but i cried at "out of peeskill", "graduation", and of course cried at the two eps on friday night... and if jo dies in the reunion then i guess i'll cry then!

Pippa: Won't you tell me now?
Blair: Tomorrow.
Jo: Rick...
Pippa: Rick?
Jo/Nat/Blair: Tomorrow, Pippa!

Natalie: A flashback within a flashback... I'm so brilliant it scares me!
Natalie: You thought she was the delivery boy? I was gonna ask her to the fall dance before I knew! [from my favorite ep, New girl part 1]
Jo: you're born, you grow, you die, hey that's life.

I cried when Nat's father died cuz i felt so sorry for her, I cried when mrs. G left... that was the BIG one!!! hehe... I know i cried when blair had her accident, but I'm not sure abotu others... i'd have to refresh my memory and look at an ep guide... let me go find one... oh yea... and when the girls graduated.. i felt happy for them and sad that they were leaving the show... then i didnt know that the shows kept going after that... i thought that was the end and that saddend me but then i saw there was more... Hehe and they were tears of happiness... oh yes and this may sound completely dumb... but i cried when they did the interview show where that old eastland student interviewed all the girls... i was fine until mrs. g started saying how much she felt lucky to have the girls and then the whoel thing where she was gonna take them out to dinner and she like looks at blair and puts her hand on blair's cheek... that got me BIG time!! and Christmas in the Big House, Mrs. G and Blair's songs were SOOOO moving... I cried then... hehe... and out of te Fire... it was sad to see Edna's Edibles go like that.... I loved that store!!! I cried in a lot of the later episodes.... like from the end of season 4 to season 9 but in the Double Standard ep where Blair was gonna go after Harison... i laughed but then when it paused on the clip of Blair and Jo smiling at eachother... that got me too!! hehe... So you arent' the only one!! I am a major go getter crier for the shows.... oh yea... i forgot to mentino i cried to Me and Elenore too... when Mrs. G rips up the sign that says help wanted meaning andy can stay at the store... I thought it was SOOo sweet.... i cried then... hehe I am sooo sentamental!!

------------------
jo: mrs. g gone on ahead I KNOW i can fix the problem
MRs. G: jo only twice in my life have i spoke in an arbitrary manner, once when my ex husband morgaged our home to pay the bookee, and now, GET THE HELL OUT OF HERE OR I'LL BEAT YOU WITH MY FRYING PAN!!!

Jo: Woaw Nat!! (grabs blairs palm tree from nat) Nice Girls Don't Throw Trees!!!

blair: now jo i know we usually dont agree but that was a scuzy thing for your mother to do!
tootie: wahts so scuzy about it!?!? dont you read the national enquirer, some of the best people are Shacking up!!

Hey, I cried too(well, sort of) when Nat's Dad died and at the end when Jo says, 'You're not always gonna feel this way ,you know'. That got me... God, I feel pathetic. Another part would have to be in 'Double Standard' when Jo is talkin' with Mrs.G about how she wanted to make her proud. I guess I was surprised to see Jo cry.(that was before she earned her nickname Faucet-Face). All those moments I got a little choked up.

Ok, I'm not really the sentimental type so there is only one episode I actually shed tears in: It was when Jo left for California. She acted like she was going to walk out but came back and gave them all a hug. That got me-I rewatched it a few times and covered my eyes because it got me good.

As for the episodes that have choked me up there have been a few: The finals episode when Jo and Blair talk about college.
The episode where Jo stays up all night with Blair to make sure she doesn't talk to that creep and agree to go on a ski trip with him.
The accident episode where Jo tried to convince Blair it wouldn't be too bad and Blair told her 'white dress' story.
In the episode "Where's Poppa" Blair's dad gets intited and everyone is trying to help Blair, except Jo who keeps telling everyone to leave her alone. Then they are all going to go to one of Tootie's plays and Blair is going to stay home-Jo tells them she forgot something and goes back inside and talks to Blair- I REALLY choked up in that one! (I love that episode so much!)

WELL, there are alot more but I can't really think of them right now, PLUS I haven't seen all the episodes so once they replay them all I'll probably have alot more that I get 'choked up' on.

Merry Christmas!

Hopper: You know I am really a shy kind of guy,but I have been watching you from across the cabin, and I said to myself,"Hopper don't let this one slip away!"

Jo: You know I have been watching you too.You have a lot to be shy about!
*************************
Beverly Ann: Let's see. It's tomorrow in Africa so if I want to talk to Edna today then I should have called her yesterday...
*************************
Natalie: It's a busy day for me. I have to go down to the newspaper office, get a lung transplant...
*************************
Blair: But if I'm not perfect... and that's a *BIG* if, then it wasn't his place to say so.

Jo: You're right. It's my place to say so.
