how long were rick and jo supposed to be dating before they got married on the show? because it seems they were only dating for, like, 2 weeks.

when did they get married? i missed that and i considered myself to be a facts of life fanatic... i guess im not...please tell me the scoop..

I can't believe you missed it! They got married on Friday night right after Blair's car accident episode. It was really rushed, but there's another post all about that. I also noticed that Jo and Rick seemed to just all of the sudden be "in love." We meet the guy and he sets a bad example for Andy, then he's sort of insane because he thinks he's going to die, then he feels better because he doesn't die. Next episode: They're dating steadily. What? Worse than that, next few episodes, he's not even around! Then: they're so in love that they need to get married right away and then he needs to go on tour so Jo can still live with the girls. Huh? He came out of nowhere and there didn't even seem to be a courting process in there anywhere. At least when Cliff proposed to Blair he had been around a little while and she actually seemed to really like him.
