Hi! I am looking desperately for the name of the song that Clair and Sly (cliff's dad) sang together... it went something like "We should be together... we should be together..." I take it it's an older song... perhaps one that came out on a record (since thats what they always listen to music on.)

Anyone have any ideas what this song name is, and who it's by? I'm sure anyone who watches the show all the time knows what I'm talking about!

Correction the gentleman that Clair sung with was the late jazz singer Joe Williams. He played Clair's father. They sung We Belong Together.

That was a very touching song and the voices of Phylicia and Joe blended well.
