Important to you once you hit play on your VCR.

A) The voices of the characters

B) THe Opening/Closing Theme Song

C) Clear Copy of the Episode

I would choose a and b because if it's short lived, 9 times out of 10 you will not come across a clear copy. I'm more concerned with the Theme song and the voices of all the characters. These are the three shows i finally received and heard the theme song and voices of the characters and did not have the clearest copy.

I've always said that the theme song is the most important part of a sitcom.

A clear copy of the episode. If you can't even see it, what's the use in watching it?

It doesn't have to be that clear if it's extremely old and only had 4 episodes. I finally saw the spinoff, Sanford Arms that aired in september of 1977. And only lasted until october 1977. But i was more concerned with the theme song and voices ofthe characters. Clear copy I know was impossible sice it only lasted a month.

a clear copy. Even if it only lasted a month, it should still be clear.

Well in this particular case, it's impossible to get a clear copy of Sanford Arms which started in 1977 because

1. It aired before a lot of people had cable

2.People only had amtennas

3.It was never in syndication

4. It was only on for a month

So i never expected to get a clea copy because when it originally aired not many people had crispy clear copies.
