Post Poll..please read/reply..

I don't mean to insult Gary Coleman or any of his fans with this, but I personally think that Gary may at sometimes selfish. Yes -- I loved watching him in DS. But after DS ended don't you think he must be a little self centered to want to just forget about what made him a childhood star, and possibly a millionare to this day? I know you will probably disagree with me -- especially his big fans, but IMO I think that he should be greatful that he landed his position on DS..what do you think?

well, Gary isn't a millionaire anymore because his greedy adoptive parents spent all his earnings and he was broke within 5 years after DS left the airwaves.

Gary does seem to be arrogant and selfish nowadays. But, he's really only defending himself out of paranoia IMO. The media has been so evil to him since DS went off the air, the same media that looked at him as a positive role model and all while the show ran.

However, I agree that Gary is ingrateful. He wants to continue to give interviews, yet doesn't wanna talk about DS. What is to talk about instead of that? He had a brief big screen/tv-movie career in the early 80's, which was all because of his work on DS. He had a cartoon in 1982, which wouldn't have happened if not for DS being such a hit with kids. etc... I think if I was in Gary's position, I would wanna focus on a happier time in my career. Most actors would kill to have the fame and stardom that came with Gary on Diff'rent Strokes.

Cool

I don't know that much about Coleman now. But i know he didn't spend or didn't hang around his old co-workers. But IMO is that he is like that because he is broke and doesn't have any money. Poor little Coleman is work as a guard or a bag man at hotels now. He doesn't seem fun and loveable anymore." He isn't even FUNNY anymore.
