I like this episode! I just watched it not long ago on my tape. This is my favorite line, "Yep, it's me again. The old end of the line Harper!"

I like when Fran is trying to teach Mama to drive, and Mama asks, "What's a PRNDL?"
Fran: "A what??"
Mama: "PRNDL! P-R-N-D-L !"

I always call automatic transmission "PRiNDL" because of this show.

the R in PRNDL stands for "Reverse."

No, that was after Mama learns how to drive. "Mama Learns To Drive" was Episode #24, which originally aired on January 7, 1984. You're thinking of "Mama Buys A Car", which was episode #26 and originally aired on January 21, 1984. Hope that helps.
