Talking Oh what a night!!..What does everyone else think?

I just finished watching FOL. It was incredible: I am happy to report that both episodes were amazing.

I always enjoy watching FOL but tonight was truly unique. Both episodes I found moving. I think my favorite was the Accident.

The seriousness of Blair's "flaw" in herself and in her face are exposed. The flaw in herself I mean, in caring so much about her beauty. Don't worry anybody who didn't see this eposide..I won't go into details.

What was everyone elses favorite episode..the first or the second one?

Amy

The first.

Besides being a total Blair mark, it doesn't take that much to make a wedding episode big.

However, it took some good acting to pull off the first episode.

Oh, and PIPPA!

My favorite was the accident episode. It was refreshing to see Blairs serious side. The Blair/Jo part was so touching. The wedding ep was cool too but I preferred the accident ep. It was more sentimental and touching IMO.

I don't know if I laughed or cried more tonight. My heart beat still isn't back to normal-I experienced so much emotion watching both these episodes.

I loved the Blair and Jo chat, and the fact Jo didn't want to break her promise to Blair, and that she snuck into the hospital to see Blair.
I also loved the Blair and Casey scenes, it was truly touching.
Oh, and when Jo asked Natalie and Tootie for advice that was cool, too!

Then the wedding episode. Comedy and drame-loved it! I LOVE Rick and Jo together, they compliment each other well. Nancy and whoever plays Rick have great on-screen chemistry IMO.
I also loved the way he proposed and how he snuck up to her bedroom window.
THEN the ceremony they wrote!
I just loved the whole episode. And I'm not forgetting the Blair/Casey moments and the Blair/Jo moment.

To make it short, if that's still possible, I LOVED each episode. I'm going to go rewatch them!

Hopper: You know I am really a shy kind of guy,but I have been watching you from across the cabin, and I said to myself,"Hopper don't let this one slip away!"

Jo: You know I have been watching you too.You have a lot to be shy about!
*************************
Beverly Ann: Let's see. It's tomorrow in Africa so if I want to talk to Edna today then I should have called her yesterday...
*************************
Natalie: It's a busy day for me. I have to go down to the newspaper office, get a lung transplant...
*************************
Beverly Ann: I wonder what's wrong with Jo.

Blair: Today or in general?
*************************
Blair: Where have you been?

Jo: At the library.

Blair: Oh, reading "Dumbo", how cute.

Jo: I don't have to read "Dumbo." I bunk right next to her.
*************************
Blair: But if I'm not perfect... and that's a *BIG* if, then it wasn't his place to say so.
Jo: You're right. It's my place to say so.

Oh I know..Blair being emotional or sensitive doesn't happen too often. I too found it touching between Joe and Blair.

Does any know if the scar appears or if it does..how long FOL actually shows it? Sometimes Tv shows tend to forget the little things and or assume that viewers will forget as time goes on. Myself, I like to pick out the little errors. It makes things interesting.

These were both definitely good episodes. I also liked the first one better. Isn't it like sitcom law that all wedding episodes have to be 2-parters? It seemed a little rushed, but anyway... I loved the ceremony they wrote, but I'm disappointed that Mrs. G didn't come. Although since they apparently got married the day after she said yes, I guess it's undertsandable. I just can't believe Jo got married! And the first episode was so good. Although Jo has apparently gotten over her fear of hospitals. I loved when Natalie and Tootie were so excited that Jo was asking them for advice. Everything tonight was just so sweet. So many good moments.

The guy that plays Rick is Scott Bryce. He plays Brookes dad in "POPULAR". Its a WB show. It airs every Friday at 9. Thats one of my favorite shows along with Charmed. Im a big WB fan.

I'd definetely say my favorite was the Accident episode. I don't want to be standard or go with the mold, but yeah, it was nice seeing a serious episode, even though I started to love 'FOL' for it's refreshing and comedic view, this serious episode was really unique. The wedding episode was ok, but nothing compared to the 1st :-)

I especially enjoyed the accident episode. The Blair/Jo stuff was great. I looked for a scar during the wedding ep but I couldn't see anything with Blair's bangs in the way.

The wedding was cool(I recognized that priest from somewhere??). The whole episode was a little rushed from the time Rick proposed to the bachelor party to the actual ceremony. Jo was like well Casey is gonna be the best man so you(Blair) should be the maid of honor could've been written a little better. All in all two pretty good shows tonight.

It is gonna be too weird watching the Eastland years again starting next week after watching Jo,Blair,Tootie, and Nat as grown women.

I definitly liked the accident ep. I grew up watching FOL and that was the ep that remembered the most but, i don't remember the accident ever being mentioned in any episodes after that. does anyone know if the accident or scar was ever mentioned after? The episode was very moving, i loved the closeness it showed between Blair and Jo and i loved the part where casey goes to the hospital to confront Blair about the scar and tells her he loves her....AAAWWWWW! but i forgot to tape it...DAMN IT!!! i've been waiting for this episode since N@N started airing FOL, and when they finally show it i forget to tape it, but at least i got to watch it.

Jo Po Rox

Thank you for letting me know what the actor who played Rick is doing now! Every time I saw him, I knew he looked familiar. I enjoy watching Popular too. Now I will always remember he's Rick from FOL>
Thanks!

I haven't seen the accident episode yet. I have to catch it at 2, but I did like the wedding episode. I do agree with others that it was a little rushed and it would have been nice to at least see a one-sided phone conversation between Jo and Mrs. G. Michele35-the minister was John Engle who plays Edward Quartermaine on General Hospital. He's been around a long time so you might have seen him on something else.

TVAddict I had forgotten about Jo's fear of hospitals and obviously so had the writers. I thought it was sweet too when Nat and Tootie got excited when Jo asked them for advice.
