Default The Captain

Omg...I can't believe no one noticed her symptoms, just like with Jinny. She said "i need new glasses" a ton of times...Maybe if they had noticed something earlier....they could've saved her from having a stroke...I can't wait two weeks to see what happened!

For being inspectors they are really bad at seeing the signs.

Okay I'm sorry but Lifetime really pissed me off there. See, if your slightly slow in the head like me, you wouldn't know she had a stroke. It was all suspenseful and like "*gasp* What happened to the captain?" but then they just HAD to say "For more information on women and strokes....." and ruin everything. Grr.

I knew it was gonna happen since I read ahead in the episode summaries but she played it well. I thought it was funny when Nate kept mentioning getting Chief and she would just give him a look, but yeah now she doens't get it.

Her eyesight is one thing- once people need new glasses, their eyes can get pretty bad... but when she started shaking with the tea cup and saucer in her hand? I knew exactly what was going to happen. My grandmother had 9 strokes... not fun. Poor Cap... no Cheif's job for her. She'll have to go to rehab and learn to talk all over again, among other things... if she doesn't die.

I just wanted to say that i think we shouldn't blame the inspectors because they didnt notice the symptoms. After all they are not trained to notice a stroke symptoms espacially when (according to the facts that were written in here about the episode) the symptomes were not so obvious (in my opinion of course).
Its like asking a doctor why he didn't notice that his patient is
a criminal.

I am a first aid assistance and i was trained to identify some stroke symptoms (not like a doctor or a paramedic of course) but i can tell you that i'm not sure i would have known by watching the episode that she is going to have a stroke.

Hoping to see your responses ,

Hadar

Since I read ahead I knew that this was going to happen to her. I just hope she is okay.

That makes complete sense that the Inspectors wouldnt know what to look for, and none of the inspectors was there everytime she had a symptom. I'm looking forward to seeing your insight on some of the upcoming eps, from the "First Aid" point of view and see if they do stuff right. Welcome, by the way. lol

nice to meet you *Marilyn Monroe* and thank you

I would be happy to give my opinion on the upcoming episodes from the first aid perspective (that is, of course, if the knowledge I have will allow me to do so).

Have a nice day everybody,

Hadar

I know what you mean, I'm an ex-nurse, and what I first noticed was that in Spin Dry at the end, the bandage that CD had was just crappy and not like a bandage should be done lol.
